Spring Grove Cemetery
I have read about Spring Grove Cemetery in numerous blog articles, Facebook posts and magazines. Two articles I happened to stumble upon, chose Spring Grove Cemetery as the "must see" landmark in Ohio. So, I decided it was past time for me to make the 40 min drive and check it out, but not without my best friend, Michelle. We loaded up the kids and made an afternoon of it, and it did not disappoint!
Turns out the picture perfect spots at this stunning cemetery just keep coming. Michelle and I took in the beauty of God's creation, and the kids had a blast doing the same!
You could easily explore Spring Grove for several hours. The kids will enjoy the turtles, fish, ducks and swan. Pack a lunch, take a walk, and search for sponge bob's headstone (we didn't see it, but I read about it in one of the many articles I ran across). Maybe take a best friend, that makes all things even more fun! Happy Friday!
Photographers take note that the cemetery closes at 6pm not dusk. Therefore, it is not ideal for summer evening shoots. It does open at 8am, however; so, if you find that early bird client give it a shot.
